“SAMGONG-MITSUBISHI ONZ SERIES” is the water treatment system for NOx reduction system.
To prevent sulphur and particles from damaging the engine, cleaning of the recirculated exhaust gas is required.
This is performed in a combined cooling and cleaning process by a pre-spray and an EGR cooler spray in the EGR system, using recirculated freshwater (FW).
If discharged overboard, the water quality must meet the international requirements for bleed-off water as stated in 2015 Guidelines for Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems, MEPC 259 (68)
“SAMGONG-MITSUBISHI ONZ SERIES” satisfies and compliance with MEPC 259 (68) (GUIDELINES FOR EXHAUST GAS CLEANING SYSTEMS).
